To clarify my last post, yes my iBook power cable did catch fire. This was the official Apple AC adapter that I’ve had since I got the computer since 2005. When I tried plugging it in again it immediately started smoldering. I’ve since replaced it with a sturdy third-party replacement. Toast suggested taking it to the Genius Bar (on fire) but I don’t want to make a scene.
Also for some reason resetbutton.net is the number one google result for “luma plush” as of this writing which is kind of crazy.
I wish my life were more interesting (or my writing itself interesting at all) to warrant writing here, but it’s not.
