Now that that don’t kill me can only make me stronger

After a year I finally got sick of using iTunes for podcasts so I switched to hpodder. After three days of it not working I wrote my own podcast client. It took about three hours and works perfectly, I wish I had done it sooner.

I’ve also come to the conclusion that I just can’t listen to podcasts at work and catch everything that’s said. So now that I have a solid solution to download podcasts, God knows when I’m going to listen to them.

The constant rain drizzle is really starting to get to me, I guess I shouldn’t move to Washington state after all.

Clinincal depression without anti-depressants after you’ve become dependent is a lot like someone without glasses not using them to try and make their eyes just work harder.

Apparently I dated(?) a linux kernel developer.

My standards of taste are low but after 1 a.m. or so they dip into dangerous levels where anything I listen to or watch is incredibly likable and impressing me takes no effort at all.

Nonetheles, Rez is just as enthralling as it was four years ago.

By the time I wake up I should have an idea if I still have a job or not. Edit: I woke up and now I still have no idea if I will continue to have a job or not.

Without effect my tears are in vain

There’s something in the air in my apartment which is either breaking my electronics or I deluding me into thinking it is. My home theater has developed a curious problem where I suddenly start having audio dropouts while watching DVDs if I stand in my kitchen. This has happened twice, once while washing dishes and tonight while cooking bacon, and was remedied both times by going back and sitting on the couch again.

This may seem strange though please keep in mind a few months ago that I was told by my ISP that the reason my DSL modem is failing isn’t due to it being cheaply made or a problem with my DSL line or anything reasonable. No, the reason my DSL modem keeps crapping out is due to the radio waves in my apartment permeating through the ether. Now I’ll admit I do have a microwave in my kitchen (where the DSL modem sits) but I’m not constantly microwaving things throughout the day and I don’t have a pirate radio transmitter stashed under the sink though that does sound appealing (Maker faire?).

At this rate I figure my TV will lose all red signal due to slight shifts in the curvature of Earth pretty soon.
